Datsun is offering the car in 5 variants – D, A, T, T(O) and S. Here’s a look at what you get with each variant: D  (Priced at Rs 2,38,900, ex-showroom Delhi) The base variant of the redi-GO comes with the limited features but is still a decent option for anyone wanting to take the leap from a two-wheeler to a car. Features include a heating and ventilation system, average and instant fuel economy readouts, a trip meter, an upshift indicator, driver-side sun visor, driver-side wing mirror and black steel wheels with hubcaps.       Mahindra and Mahindra expands its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of eVerito.The car comes in 3 models-D2 , D4 and D6.The base model of the car D2 is priced at 9.5 lakh  (Ex showroom Delhi) while the price of the top end D6 model goes up to 10lakh Rs (Ex-showroom Delhi).   E-verito is powered by an elecric motor coupled to a 72v battery pack.The car is claimed to have a driving range of 110km on full charge.The car can be fully charged in 1hour 45 minutes using fast charging technology while the regular charging takes 8 hours.eVerito has a top speed of 86kmph.Mahindra claims the running cost of the car to be 1.15 Rs per km.        Design of the car is same as that of the current Verito sedan.However it gets some sticker works and revamped interior to help defferentiate it from the Verito.

   Renault unveiled its new car Kaptur which is one of the 10 upcoming cars to be unveiled by Renault globally this year.Kaptur is based on the Duster platform.Kapture is specifically designed for the emerging market.It is a more premium offering than the Duster.    In order to keep the cost and style in balance they have used the design from their existing small crossover ,the captur.Although Kaptur looks very similar to the captur for European market,it gets a more prominent front end with a large Renault logo and a larger front bumper with daytime LED running lights and a prominent rear bumper.It will come with a 16 anf 17 inch ally wheel option. Vitara Brezza vs Ecosport

    Mahindra is all set to launch its new compact SUV the Nuvosport.It is a updated version of the Mahindra Quanto which was Mahindra's 1st compact SUV.Nuvosport gets a completely redesigned front end.It gets a reslyled headlamps,grille and bumper.On the interior it gets a new beige colour interior,restyled dashboard and leather seat.     Nuvosport will come in six varients including an AMT version.It will use 1.5liter 3-cylinder Mhawk engine which will have 2 drive modes - power and Economy.In power mode the engine gives out a 100bhp and 24.47kgm of torque while in Economy mode the engine pumps 72 bhp and 18.35 kgm torque. Nuvosport will compete with Vitara Brezza,Ford Ecosport and Mahindra's own TUV300.

Maruti Suzuki launched its compact SUV 'Vitara Brezza'.The car measures under 4 meter and will compete with the likes of  Ford Ecosport and Mahindra TUV300.Vitara will be available with only one engine option,the 1.3 liter Fiat Multijet Engine that is used in many other Maruti Suzuki cars.     Pricing of the car starts at 6.99 lakh for the base model (LDI).The car will be available in 6 variants. Tata Kite 5 is a sub 4 meter sedan based on the Zica.The car shares mechanicals and styling from the Zica, the only change is the additional boot.The car gets a class leading boot space of  420 liters.Engine is the same 1.2 liter 3 cylinder petrol and the 1.05 liter 3cylinder Diesel engine used in the Zica. Tata Nexon compact SUV The Nexon will be powered by a turbocharged, 1.5-liter diesel engine, good for 110 PS and 260 Nm of torque. The Nexon will employ a power assisted rack and pinion steering setup, while ground clearance is pegged at a healthy 200 mm. Though the interiors are still under wraps, the Nexon will feature a 6.5″ touchscreen infotainment system sourced from HARMAN.The design of the car is comtemporary and very impressive.The sloping roof looks like that of the Range Rover Evoque.

UM (United Motorcyles) launched its Renegade Range of cruiser bikes in India today at the auto expo. 2016 Auto Expo kicked of for the media today.Maruti suzuki starts the expo with the first unveil at the expo.Maruti Suzuki unveiled the Vitara Brezza.   Vitara will use the 1.3 liter DDiS that makes a power of 88.5 Bhp and a Torque of 200Nm Dimensions: Length:3995 mm Height:1640 mm Width:1790 mm Wheelbase:2500 mm Ground Clearence:198 mm The car will come with 6 varients with the base model getting Drivers airbag as standard.Vitara will compete with the likes of  Ecosport and KUV300.Price is expected to be between 6-10 lakh.

Bajaj has unvieled its new V motorcycle.The bike is made out of metal of scrapped warship, INS Vikrant.The bike will be priced between Rs 60000 and 70000.It will be aimed at boosting the market share of Bajaj in the executive bike segment .   The bike has got a whole new design which is a mixture of a cafe racer and a cruiser.The bike gets 18inch wheels at the front while 16inch wheels at the rear.The bike is powered with a 150cc DTS-i engine that makes 11.8 bhp of power which is 2 bhp less that the discover 150.

Ford India has unveiled the iconic Ford Mustang today at the pre-launch event in Delhi.Ford confirmed the lauch of the car at the 2nd quarter of 2016.The Mustang will come to India as completely built unit (CBU).  Mustang will get only one engine option in india which is the top of the line 5.0 liter V8 engine producing a power of 434 BHP and 524 Nm torque.The car will be priced between 50-60 lakh rupees.Though the Mustang do not have direct rivels in the country,the price range makes Mercedes CLA 45 AMG the main rival. Indian bound Mustang retains most of the features like the HID head-lamp unit with LEDs.LED tail lamp cluster, dual-zone   HVAC system, launch control, electronic line-lock, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert, adaptive cruise control, drive mode selector, rain-sensing wipers, dual front airbags with additional curtain and knee-bags, and independent rear suspension to name a few.

Royal Enfield to add more colours to its bike line up.
