Porsche unveils its electric sports car 'Mission E' at Frankfurt motor show

Porsche has revealed its electric sports car  Mission E. The car was unveiled at Frankfurt motor show.The car produces an amazing power of 600BHP and is claimed to have a range of a more than 500km on a full battery. With a kerb weight of 2,000kg, the concept is also said to achieve a 0-100kph time of 3.5 seconds, just 0.1 second behind the latest 911 Turbo’s sprint time.

This all-electric four-wheel-drive car is powered by two  electric motors – one powering the rear wheel and the other powering the front wheel  delivering a combined output of over 600bhp. The new concept gains at least 80bhp over the fastest production 911 Turbo powered by the twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre six- cylinder engine.


 As per Porsche's claim, the production model of the four-door Mission E will be ready before 2020.
