Yamaha's Mystery bike to be launched in 8 days

Yamaha has gone Sci-Fi in their latest teaser video for a new bike that they will unveil in 8 days. We get a fleeting glimpse of the bike in what looks like a trailer to a James Cameron film. Credit to the marketing team for showing just enough of the bike to pass it off as a teaser video for it. There is far too little of the bike in the 15 second sequence to make an informed decision on what it could be. It isn’t even clear if we’re in for the unveil of a new bike or a launch
For those of you that have been hoping for it to happen, spoiler alert, it is unlikely that Yamaha is setting us up for the launch of the R25. As much as we would all want to see it happen, that does not seem to be the case. The one thing the video reveals is the front cheek of the mystery bike. Sadly, it seems to be just enough to soft-speculate that it isn’t the R25. Well, may be it could be. But it isn’t something you’d want to bet a whole lot of money on.

What it does look like is a slightly larger sports-tourer kind of machine. We did hear about Yamaha  ”FJ-09″ for a new bike. Could this be the bike that taken on that moniker? There is also conjecture that this is a lower displacement bike that Yamaha has been working on in secret for a while now. Yamaha does have a few exciting things in store for the Indian market but nothing that we quite expect to look like the machine in the video.

Yamaha India has re-launched The  Yamaha YZF-R15 version 1.0 and rebadged it as Yamaha R15 V1.0 S,The bike is priced   INR 1.14 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).  It blends the style and stance from the original V 1.0 with the mechanical bits from the V 2.0. Honda CBR 250RR concept showcased at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show

Honda has showcased its CBR 250RR concept at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show. Power and performance of the new bike is still unknown,The bike is expected to make around 40bhp.The design seems to be very impressive. The instument cluster looks funky.Fuel tank is muscular.Split seat looks well sculpted. The concept is equipped with telescopic front fork and monoshock rear suspension, a petal disc brake at each wheel, clip-on handle bars and Akrapovic exhaust system.

Bookings opened for Mahindra Mojo

     Mahindra Two-wheelers will lauch the Mahindra Mojo very soon after several years of wait.  The motorcycle can now be booked at dealerships, against a down payment of Rs 10,000.  Mahindra dealers confirms that the bike will be available by the 2 nd week of October.     We’ve already seen a lot of spy pictures of near production ready Mahindra Mojo bikes being tested in the last couple of weeks .The motorcycle will also get a slightly stepped seat, with individually placed grab rails for the pillion.        The Mahindra Mojo will be using the, 300cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine with a four-valve equipped head that produces a power of around 32bhp, with peak torque of about 2.5kgm.       The Mahindra Mojo has been seen testing with a dual exhaust system. The bike will get an upside down front suspension  coupled with a rear monoshock. It will also get disk brakes in front and rear wheels.
